As a photographer, I want to know what your joy in life is and capture that for you in your photos. Vividness, expression, and capturing the joy of the moment for you is important to me. If I cannot, I will refer you to another great photographer who can. I use professional Canon DSLRs and lenses in my work. I enjoy on-site work and also have a small studio. My areas of specialty are high school and college senior portraits, sports, family portraiture, events (photo-documentation/journalism), people/candids, landscapes, and nature. Family/group shots in natural settings are preferred. I prefer working in natural light; and can work well in low-light venues; I work well with children, youth, and the elderly; Comfortable in any setting; Capable of getting to difficult spots to shoot. I freelance for the News Messenger/Radford News Journal & their family of newspapers; am a sports candid photographer with LifeTouch; work with sports teams; and have my own clients.
