Average Alaskan Tours is a local tour company in Ketchikan Alaska. We provide 1.5 hour wildlife tours. Stops include Herring cove, the beach, and south end waterfall. Herring cove give the very best chance to see black bear and salmon in the creek. The beach has a 600 year old Sitka spruce tree that is a landing spot for eagles. The south end waterfall provides a beautiful backdrop for photos. We can not guarantee wildlife yet try very hard for each tour. Vans are no more than 14 people with guides who are knowledgeable of the areas.
