Owners, Larry and Suzan Cobb, along with their three children Jerremy, Sarah and Mattie, are long time year around residents of Ninilchik. Larry’s been a fishing guide in Alaska for the past 22 years and is a well-seasoned Captain. He is USCG licensed, CPR trained, and first aid certified. Kings Run Charters is bonded and insured. With his experience and knowledge in Sports and Commercial Fishing, he will make your trip as successful and memorable as ever. He’s one of the original charter operators in Deep Creek and has a passion for fishing and hunting. Larry grew up in California but shortly after graduating from High School he headed up to Alaska and has been here ever since. Along with being a full time Charter Captain Larry has also worked as a Bear Guard for oil exploration companies. Larrys job was as titled, protecting the workers from Bear attacks. He would also teach them outdoor skills such as snowshoeing and how to navigate the different types of terrain that they would encounter. Suzie is a full time nurse and is currently working in Montana. During the off season Larry packs his bags and meets up with her there. While she is working Larry is chasing around Elk, Deer, and various species of waterfowl and upland game birds. Both Suzie and Larry know there way around a kitchen and are excellent cooks.
