Meet our Principal Therapist Kristina Rivas, PT, PHD, NCS – Licensed Physical Therapist – Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Dr. Rivas received an MSPT in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami and a PhD in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami with a research emphasis on Neuroplasticity after Spinal Cord Injury. She is also a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist with 20 years of experience treating patients across the spectrum of neurological disorders. Additionally she has expertise treating patients with orthopedic/sports injury, especially young athletes. She was an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University for 10 years before returning to clinical practice.
