Our Owners Ron and Jody Courtney Ron Courtney has spent 40 years in the sign industry learning new skills as technology has forever changed the sign industry! He started as a hand-letterman when he was just 18, earning a good living for a young man doing window flashing and commercial real estate signs. His burning passion for this industry pushed him to try innovative ideas, materials and manufacturing processes. He quickly found the way to succeed wasn’t hidden in an estimate’s bottom line, but it was found in creating a niche and becoming a valuable part of his customer’s team.As the economy in the US began to change in the late 90’s Ron once again navigated an innovative approach to this industry and began to change his business model. While traditional sign companies around the country struggled to keep their doors, Ron seized the opportunity to serve national sign and management companies who purchase sign and lighting service and installation for their large customers. Today, Ron and his team work almost exclusively with that segment of our industry as they help their industry customers keep local signs and lighting installed properly and working 100%!Ron’s strengths are found in leading his team to be organized and dedicated to thorough and timely job communication. Midwest’s experience and strong understanding of the sign industry make them a valuable part of their customer’s team! Our crews are just minutes away from any location in the metropolitan Indianapolis area, including downtown Indy.
