The Carolinas Center promotes innovation and excellence in advanced illness at the end of life throughout North and South Carolina. The Carolinas Center (TCC) is the leading voice for quality end of life care in the Carolinas, representing an extensive number of hospice and palliative care providers in North and South Carolina. TCC engages its members through the utilization of listservs, member interest groups and working committees, thereby ensuring that the work it does includes the many and various voices of those it represents. Most recently, TCC created the Palliative Care Provider Network to support efforts of non-hospice palliative care providers in the Carolinas. TCC endorses the maxim that Change Happens At The Speed Of Trust, thereby promoting fundamental values of trust, integrity, accountability, and performance excellence. The Center staff and board work hard to empower hospice and palliative care providers, and facilitate system transformation, in order that excellent services are consistently provided to people and families who live with advanced illness.
